When I make food, it is possible to make a change in a person’s life. Perhaps cooking something special for someone can make their day a little better. I love that.
Starting off my journey as a chef, the most challenging thing was actually one of the most simplest—following the chef’s orders. Making sure that every task I was assigned I completed to the satisfaction of the chef.
I enjoy the challenge of being a chef, particularly the fact that I can always make something better and better. It’s satisfying to never give up—always striving for greater excellence.
I’m not sure if diners know how much work goes in to creating the meal. Guests only see the finished product and experience the service in the dining room. But behind the scenes in the kitchen, a lot of time, passion and effort goes in to creating a single dish.
I love making pasta. Not only is it fun to do, but I love the roots it has with my family. I’m fascinated with the different shapes and the flavors I can create.
